Course Description

Become a fully qualified early childhood educator and develop skills in providing activities and care to children. You'll learn to facilitate learning and play in order to enable children to achieve developmental outcomes. This qualification reflects the role of educators in early childhood education and care who work in regulated children's education and care services in Australia.

Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who hold a CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Students are required to undertake a Pre-Training Review and a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy Assessment.

These will assist with determining suitability and relevance into course entry and identification of any support needs.

The ability to obtain a Working with Children Check - Working with Children Check & Police Check required for industry work placement.
